This notice explains how Drainamic uses personal information from customers, prospective customers, engineers, contractors and business partners.
1. Who is responsible for your information?
Drainamic is responsible for the information collected through this website. Incorporation details and the registered office will be added once registration is completed. For data-protection enquiries, email hello@drainamic.co.uk.
2. Information we collect
We may collect your name, contact details, postcode, property or site type, service requirements, communications and job records. Partner applications may also include business details, coverage, availability, equipment, qualifications and insurance position. We do not ask applicants to upload identity or insurance documents through this initial form.
3. Why we use it
We use information to assess enquiries, provide quotations, arrange attendance, manage jobs, respond to complaints, assess network applications, verify suitable partners, prevent misuse and meet accounting or legal duties.
4. Our lawful bases
We generally rely on taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, complying with legal obligations and our legitimate interests in operating a safe, efficient and accountable drainage service. If we introduce optional electronic marketing, it will have a separate choice and unsubscribe route.
5. Who receives information?
Information may be shared only as necessary with vetted engineers or contractors, payment and accounting providers, website and data-hosting providers, professional advisers, insurers, relevant water or public authorities, and law-enforcement bodies where legally required. An assigned engineer receives only the information reasonably needed to assess or attend the job.
6. Retention
Unconverted enquiries and unsuccessful initial partner applications are generally kept for up to 12 months. Job, contract and transaction records are generally kept for up to six years, or longer where a legal claim, insurance matter or statutory duty requires it. Records are reviewed and securely deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.
7. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to certain use of your information. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it. Contact us using the email above. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
8. Security and international services
We use access controls and appropriate technical and organisational measures. Some technology providers may process information outside the UK; where this occurs, we require an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism and safeguards.
9. Cookies
This launch website does not intentionally use advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies. Essential technical data may be processed to deliver, secure and diagnose the service. If analytics or advertising tools are added, the notice and consent controls will be updated first.
